Jonathan was born in 1978, and he couldn’t be more proud of it. Schooled on music of the 60s and 70s in the back of a Subaru station wagon, lost in synths as a child of the 80s, going through puberty in the golden era of hip hop, co-creating the ska, punk, and brit-pop revivals of the 90s, trailblazing emo in the early aughts, riding the evolution of indie, pop, and electronic genres to today - Jonathan is a living synthesis of sound and it’s audible in everything he creates.
A live wire, Jonathan’s been playing instruments and writing songs since he was 6. At his first piano recital, he performed Stevie Wonder’s “I Just Called to Say I Love You” and the Ghostbuster’s Theme Song. It’s been downhill from there.
